NuCLEANase®

Enzymatic removal of DNA, for regulatory compliance and process efficiency improvements of fermentative processes

NuCLEANase® is an endonuclease, which can be used for the enzymatic removal of nucleic acids in a large variety of bioprocesses A frequent application is the reduction of residual NuCLEANase® DNA for regulatory compliance of fermentation processes.

NuCLEANase® can contribute to a more efficient production process of microbial derived products. It reduces the nucleic acid induced viscosity, which makes the recovery process easier

As NuCLEANase® is beneficial for a wide range of biotech applications it comes as a food- and tech-grade formulation. The food-grade is halal/kosher certified and listed on the FDAs GRAS Inventory List.

Teaser-NuCLEANASE_GRAS_de

After submitting a GRAS notification for NuCLEANase® (GRN No.1146) to the US FDA, c-LEcta has received a "No questions letter” from the authority, which is publicly available within the GRAS Inventory List. The GRAS Notification designates that the usage of NuCLEANase® in food applications is considered safe under the conditions of its intended use.

For which Application Field do you need NuCLEANase®?

250124_NuCLEANase_Fermentation Products

In fermentative derived products, NuCLEANase® can be used for the removal of residual DNA from genetically modified production hosts for regulatory compliance.

Phage production

In phage manufacturing processes NuCLEANase® is used to specifically remove nucleic acids from cell lysates to reduce the viscosity and aggregate formation and hence facilitates the purification of the phages.
